Microsoft unveiled the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL high-end smartphones earlier this month, but it was a bit vague about their availability.
We now know that both smartphones should be available on the market sometime in November. The information has been confirmed by Microsoft for the US market, but it looks like the devices won't come earlier in Europe either.
The good news is customers in Europe can already pre-order the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL assuming they live in one of the countries where retailers are now taking pre-orders for the Windows 10 Mobile smartphones.
If not, you will have to pay shipping fees, which depend on country. Anyway, Windows Phone fans in the UK will be pleased to know that both smartphones are now available for pre-order at various retailers including Clove, Unlocked Mobiles and Expansys.
Microsoft will sell these Lumias through its official stores, too
Obviously, both smartphones will be sold through Microsoft official webstore, but right now you can only get them at the retailers mentioned earlier.
Moreover, authorized retailers in Austria, Germany and the Netherlands are taking pre-orders for both Lumia smartphones as well, GSMArena points out.
The prices differ by country, but they don't go over €700 for the Lumia 950 XL and €600 for the Lumia 950. Another piece of information that we got directly from these retailer is the estimated shipping date.
While some retailers are expected to ship these pre-orders on November 27, others won't be able to do that until December 10.
The Microsoft Display Dock that allows Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL owners to make use of the Continuum feature is also available for purchase for around €100.
However, one particular retailer in the Netherlands is offering the Microsoft Display Dock for free to all those who pre-order the Lumia 950 XL until November 29.
So, Windows Phone fans have plenty of choices at their disposal, as long as they can afford to pay the outright price for these Windows 10 Mobile high-end smartphones.
