Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 PC Version Gets Improved Optimization, Mouse Use, More



The development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision have already offered some details about the way gamers who played the beta for the first-person shooter have managed to deliver the feedback required to tweak some of the core mechanics.

The two companies will deliver a range of changes to the weapons balance and some of the main feature of the competitive side of the shooter before it is launched to make sure that the community is satisfied with the offered experience.

When it comes to the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 the development team at Treyarch says that some of the coming tweaks are designed only for this platforms, with a focus on optimization for as many types of hardware as possible.

An official blog announcement explains that, "Some players felt that the game didn’t perform well on their computer. The good news is that the PC Beta didn’t include final performance optimizations. This work is being completed as we speak. We’re improving performance and working with hardware partners to prepare optimized drivers for launch."

Floaty or laggy mouse action in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is also being dealt with and a compatibility problem linked to certain network configuration is also eliminated.

Treyarch also says a lot of bugs and freezes are also being fixed before the game is launched.

The beta was valuable because it allowed Treyarch to test the core elements of the shooter with a wide range of players.

The company is introducing a number of changes to the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, including a new system of Specialists and more customization options.

The title also features more freedom for the characters to move around the new maps, allowing them to try and surprise enemies by attacking from an unexpected position.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be offered on November 6 and gamers can play it on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, the PC and older consoles, although these versions will not include the single player campaign because of technical limiations.
