Halo: The Master Chief Collection Arrives Early Next Week, Patch Notes Revealed

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is an year old but the development team at 343 Industries continues to deliver changes for it and says that an entirely new content update for the first-person shooter will be offered early this week, once it is out of certification.

The studio is ready to talk about the way the core mechanics will be tweaked and gamers can take a look at the official notes by clicking on the button at the end of this article.

On the official site 343 Industries also explains that an entirely new system is being introduced to penalize gamers who quit, betray their teammates or idle, with the overall aim being to improve the overall Halo: The Master Chief Collection experience.

The company explains, "Leaving the game before finishing (any time from the start of voting until the game concludes) will result in a loss for your ranking and a penalty to your Xbox One reputation. After this update, if you quit, betray, or idle too many times during a set period of time, you will be temporarily banned from playing matchmaking."

The length of the temporary bans will be increased if a player does not change his behavior in any way.

Matchmaking for the shooter is also set to be improved and gamers should also be on the lookout for a new playlist update.

The package is becoming important for Microsoft because it allows gamers to experience the four core titles in the franchise on the Xbox One, with a range of upgrades and tweaks.

Sales should get a boost once the new title in the series will be available as newcomers look to see how the narrative of the Master Chief powered universe has evolved so far.

Halo 5: Guardians will be offered on the Xbox One on October 27.

The new game is offering a single player campaign which features both Master Chief and Agent Locke, both leading a team of four other operatives.

The multiplayer features a Warzone that mixes PvP and PvE as well as a more competitive focused Arena.
